Megan,
Knowing you personally, I'm sure much of Sis. Stevens' credit goes directly to YOU and the way you not only incorporated all those fantastic ideas, but the way you know your Primary children and what works for them. Hooray for you and your Primary!!!
Hugs,

P.S. to the group: I'll add my THANKS to everyone else's -- you are all such a wonderful resource and support in this calling!

Jean Stevens from the General Presidency attended our Primary and she was so complimentary of how I did Singing Time. I'm sorry to say I didn't give credit to this group at the time, so I owe you big time!!

We have combined Jr/Sr Singing Time, and I handed each class a 'translation' (based on contributions from Primusic) for a phrase of the 3rd Verse. I had Jolly Jenn's flipchart for the 3rd verse up on the board. Each class decided together which 'translation' went with which phrase and then posted it on the board under the right flipchart pic. Then someone from each class read the translation to everyone. Sang the 3rd verse. I read the story of Joseph playing baseball with the kids (shared in this group). Sang it again. Student read Mark 16:17-18. Told story of Joseph being poisoned then healed by Bishop Whitney's Priesthood blessing. Sang it. Sang it with actions. Sang 1st and 3rd verses together.
