I used the actions that were posted earlier by someone today along with the roller coaster ride with my jrs. They loved it. Other than the first batch of boys I had come up wouldn't let me move the bar. They held onto it as tight as tight and in order to raise it up high I about had to raise them all off their feet. I turned that over to the Primary Councillor while I lead them thro the actions.
For the Srs I read the story about the stick-pulling then I had the boys come 2 at a time and try stick pulling while the rest sang with the actions. We ended up singing the song many times so it worked like a charm. Thanks for the ideas of the roller coaster and the actions and also the stories. The kids had a great time and worked on the song at the same time.
