0 Re: [primusic] Welcome Visitors? Interested in lists of Songs from Primary lessons?

The first part of We welcome you" is easy to learn my kids love it.
I also taught them "Our door is always open" it is a short and sweet song that can be sung in a round.
My kids have loved to change the language to the Hello Song, "bonjour, guten tag" for example.
I choose one of these songs and sing them for the whole month and rotate through the others. Since we don't have visitors every week we usually don't get tired of the songs.

Perfect Primary Choristers:

I have not been at this long this go around, but already I am tired of the welcome song. What do you use? Forever they have done the Hello Song - can't go back there! As cute as it was that she substituted a new way to say Hello every week, my kids are done with that song. I introduced and we have used "If You Don't Walk" for the past several months, but... it's time! Do you do a welcome to new visitors? What? Do you use that time for any song, and sing it as if serenading them? Suggestions? At least the Birthday song we have a few to pick from.

Help.

Also, last time I had this calling, I took the time to type up all the songs used with the lesson so I could tie them in somehow. I have a list of all the songs used by lesson for the older manuals (not the new Nursery one - that one they skip around in anyway - making this impossible). I am wondering if any of you try to include those songs?
Would those lists be of benefit to anyone else? I would share, if someone's interested.

I wonder if any of you genius leaders have a spreadsheet already created that links to all the themes and details we are supposed to tie together so I am not winging it so much when I get there! Like today, their lessons in Jr were on reverence so we sang "Reverence is Love." Next week, their lessons on Jr include Happy Family, Smiles, and If your Happy. Those are easy to tie in for wiggle songs :). Just wondering.

I am trying to get organized and have a monthly schedule with all these details on one sheet. Tricky. Working on it. Lots of schedules to link together!

Thanks for all the great ideas you share here!
