That's exactly what I was thinking. I don't want to have a large selection for my nursery kids because the aim right now is to get them singing, and if I have too large a selection, they don't seem to learn the songs as well. My kiddos seem to love singing. They won't sing the entire song - but they'll sing certain words. Like they never cease to sing the beam in Jesus wants me for a sunbeam! LOL They usually shout the BEAM part out loud! It's so cute.

It's really not a big deal doing nursery. It's very low key. We sing the same songs every week so the kids can get familiar with them (although most just stare at me), every once in a while I introduce a new song. It only takes about 5-10 min and then I'm done. We use little instruments they can shake while we sing, like morrocas (sp?), bells, plastic eggs with beans or rice in them, etc. They get to choose one out of the box before we start singing.
