0 [primusic] Re: Pioneer Day Activity?

 

We have a large primary as well, so we decided to combine singing time/sharing time and use an idea we found online (can't remember where), in which we do a campfire stories & songs.  We plan to have a fake campfire built up in the middle of the room & have the kids turn their chairs to the middle to circle around the fire.  Then we'll tell Pioneer stories (we had some gathered from last year) and sing a Pioneer song in between each story.  Our Primary Pres is very musical and plays the guitar, so she'll be accompanying us instead of the piano.
