I feel for you. I read these posts each year from music leaders who are asked to learn new songs at the last minute and just wonder "What is the Presidency thinking????" But this year I have a suggestion. Contact you Stake Primary Presidency and ask for their help. If you have a Stake Primary Music Leader then she'd be the one to contact. The Stake leaders can talk to your Primary Presidency and help get them on the right track. This is exactly the sort of thing the stake is supposed to do. Then you don't have to argue about it with your President. Instead, she gets the training she needs from her stake leader.
