Hey Grah,

I'm a lurker on this list but your trombone bit below caught my
attention - when I retired I dug the trombone out of the closet after 30
years of not playing. I'm definitely not a jazz player but enjoy
playing the melody along with BIAB accompaniment on occasion (and of
course, "Angel Eyes" is also a favorite.

Many years ago a college classmate arranged a couple of trombone
quartets that he "wrote" from listening to the Four Freshmen LP's - very
nice arrangements that were "lost" while I was in the Army. I currently
play trombone in a couple of concert bands and a trombone ensemble.

I mention this just in case there's an outside change that you (or
others on the list) might know of any "Four Freshmen" type arrangements
for trombone. If so, I'd enjoy hearing about them.
