Referring to Garritan ... also known as a 'Rompler.' This is a type of VSTi softsynth that triggers actual bits of audio data from a huge data base, instead of 'synthesizing' the sounds. However, Romplers often do have some synthesizing engines to 'tweak' the sample library.
