Hi Sisters, I actually bought some rhythm sticks at a music site online because they need to be a little heavier than chopsticks to do the more complicated things we worked on. I noticed that Michaels now has pre-cut 12" dowels that they sell in a container. I suggest either getting 5/8 or 3/4 inch diameter. You don't need to paint them because they are completely smooth.
