I think these are GREAT ideas! I just have a question so I can explain why I'm doing this to the kids...why is September missionary month? I'm probably going to feel stupid when you give me the answer:)

I feel like I never have anything good to post so here a couple I have for Sept.
Since it's missionary month, I thought I would use each of the program songs and talk about the things that missionaries teach people about the church. ie..Holy ghost-IILWMH, Plan of Salvation-IWFGP, Living Prophet-Stand for the right, Joseph Smith-Praise to the Man, Families are Forever-ILTSTT, and Word of Wisdom-TLGMAT. Th chose The Saviors Gift to Me-Atonement, and Scripture Power-Scripture Reading.
The other activity I did a few years back. I am contacting all the parents and asking them to report back to me where they served a mission, and what their favorite primary song is. I have a big world map and we will mark all the missions and sing the songs.
