I do three music times each week. We have jr and sr separate. I usually do the same thing for jrs and srs, except I simplify what I'm doing for the jrs.


For nursery, I made up some cards that have the names of the songs on them along with an image of what the song is like for Popcorn Popping, I have a tree with Popcorn in it. I fan the cards out and let the kiddos come up and pick and we sing the song on the card. They LOVE these cards and it is the BEST thing I ever did for my nursery kids. When they see me come in, they go and sit down and wait for me to fan those cards out. It's so dang cute. And they know that I won't call on them unless they are sitting down. Our nursery leaders have told me that those cards are fantastic. If you'd like to see my cards, I'd be happy to send them to you.

Also, how does anyone run this schedule and get to get in extra practice for the primary program. I'm assuming they're going to have to cancel my 5th Sunday full Sunday teaching times and I'll have to find a sub for the nursery when we're practicing for the program in August??

I was already keeping very busy as the Primary Chorister, I guess I'm just feeling like there's not enough time to do both and I'm a bit panicked and tired! I want to be able to do all they're asking me but I'm a bit overwhelmed...
