Today was a lot of fun! I introduced the Sr Primary to the fermata. We sang a couple of songs including PTTM which does have the fermata at one point. I had a giant picture of one, and every time I raised the picture of it, they had to pause at that point and continue on. Instead of pausing at the fermata in PTTM, I kept going and was able to really accentuate some other words. It kept everyone on their toes, especially the pianist. :) I'm definitely going to do "fermata singing" in the future. (They also love to sing staccato for PTTM.)
