Hi Barbara!

Welcome to the group & congrats on the new calling.  You have a fun adventure ahead!  So much to learn, and so much to gain.  You will love it as you find that the wonderful Primary music fills your heart & home.  I have one approach that I have discovered works really well with my JR group.  They love ACTIONS with the songs.  If they can stand up & move their body as they sing the words they are more apt to listen, learn & retain.  I'm not talking about sign language or anything, but simple actions that help them to remember the words.  Not every song is easy to do actions to, but most of them work.  Hope this helps you!
