Visuals are extremely important.  Talk about the pictures and the song so they have an understanding of what the song is about.  Over time they won't need the visuals anymore.

Hey everyone!!! I have LOVED reading all of your ideas and hope to one day have some to add. I was just called as the Primary Chorister and don't have a musical bone in me.

I wanted to ask all of you what approaches you have used to teach the primary children new songs. One question I have is about visual aids for JR primary. If I don't use them during the Sacrament Program should I start with them?
