0 [Band-in-a-Box] Midi editing

Hi friends,

I am working on a project, where I would like to present my piano jazz playing nicely showing notation and keyboard touches on Youtube as video combined with audio.

By means of Biab 2011.5 and my Cubase Sequencer I have achieved the midi and audio, all then imported into Biab.
I intend to show the song in Biab Leadsheet Mode showing two bars in 4/4 also showing the Big Piano Window.

I know that Biab is not intended to be a professional notation software but as I believe good enough for my purpose.

My main problems editing the existing midi file are:

- the chords do not always appear in the sheet as a chord but rather as separate notes played. How can I easily achieve that chords are being shown as chords?

- is there a simple way to change the notation resolution in order not to make the notation too complicated to read. There are lots of triplets, combination of 16ths and 8ths.

- often a chord sounding all the way but split in say one 4th and one 8th without a bow binding the two notes together.

- in the lead sheet view I have limited the notation to show 2 bars at a time. Normally the notes are indicated in red colour when playback happens. This does not always happen especially when the 1st beat (of the two bars showing)is being played. Is there a way to correct this? Seems to me like sort of latency.

I am showing my piano playing with two clefs. I have used the hand split function in the melody utility menu and it seems to work pretty well.

A friend of mine has recommended editing using Power Tracks.
Is there any editing in PT in this respect that can´t be done in Biab?

Your kind expertese and advice is very much appreciated.

I have done a test upload on Youtube of the old standard Body and Soul should anyone be interested. Look for MrBruno1935 and you should find it.

Keep swingin´

Bruno
