I was thinking about buying BiaB on a portable USB drive so I can take
it with me and use it with my laptop on the road. It occurs to me that
it would be real nice to be able to work on the road then plug the drive
into my workstation when I get back to the studio and have everything
that I've been working on without having to transfer files. However,
I've just been reading on the PG Music website: The regular editions
ship on 2.5" portable USB hard drives powered by the USB port, while the
AudioPhile editions are shipped on 3.5" hard drives that use an external
power source.Well, damn. So I can't get the Audiophile version on a
portable hard drive? I was sure I had read something to the contrary in
this forum. Would somebody who knows please advise?Also, if the
Audiophile version is available on a portable drive, how much space is
left for additional storage?Ron Hanson
