I need some suggestions of books or links  .. thanks ..<<< I just ordered a book from Amazon.com...Jazz Piano: Concepts and Techniques.  I'd suggest you take a look at it on Amazon.  It looks like a good one for me and may work for you.  For $12 or so, how can a person lose? The reviews said it will help a person beginner thru advanced play convincingly from a Fake Book, i.e., lead line and chord names. I also just saw some instructional videos on line at PianoMother.com that were helpful, but I'm not sure I want to buy their whole program. Priscilla
