I have an idea for Senior Primary--Pictionary. Many months ago, I had the kids write down their name and favorite song on a slip of paper. I folded the slips and put them in a jar. Whenever we have extra time (hardly ever!), I pull out a slip of paper and that child gets to come up and draw clues to the song while the other kids try to guess what it is. Once they guess, we sing this song. This takes no effort or prep-work, we get to sing favorite songs, and the kids love it! Often my substitutes like to come up with their own thing but I always give this as a back-up option and tell them the jar is in the cupboard. Good luck!
