Open the file in RealBand. It's included with BIAB, and is a reasonably powerful MIDI sequencer. RealBand handles SMF files a lot better than BIAB, but can open BIAB files as well.

I use BIAB to scratch out the basic song structure, then move over to RealBand to improve the sequence - customized intros, breaks, fills, alternate bass lines, solos, etc. The look and feel is very similar to BIAB so the learning curve is not as steep as it is for other sequencers (if you're used to BIAB of course).
