0 Re: [primusic] Christmas in July

I have a bag of jingle bells tied to ribbon or string that I hand out to the kids when we do Christmas in July. Also I have them write the songs on paper and crumple them up and snowball attack me. Also we sing Snowman and vote on which class made the best puddle at the end. Just silly stuff to keep their attention. Now I have 3 boys who last week stuck their fingers in their ears and told me they don't like to sing. Any suggestions on what to do about this. I just walked up to them and told them I'm sorry they were going to miss out on the fun. They all took a percussion instrument and joined in when I used them. I'd be happy to hear other suggestions as they are only 9 years old now. Thanks in advance. Tina in Ohio

Subject: [primusic] Christmas in July

Some of you have mentioned doing Christmas in July.  Could you share what you did?  I am thinking of doing this tomorrow.  Did you just sing Christmas songs or was there more to it?
