I have a large 3 ring binder with dividers (with pockets) for each song for the year. In that section, I have the song in sheet protectors and put in the flipchart, pictures, or whatever (if any) paper prop I used to teach that song in the pockets of the dividers. I don’t use flipcharts for all my songs and if I do, I won’t continue to use them every time we sing the song; I only use them to teach the song and then wean them off the flipchart. Anyways, I still leave them in my binder. If I have a flipchart or other prop for a song I taught, but it is not one of the songs for the year (ie a Mother’s day Song), I will file them in my filing cabinet at home and just leave them there for a later time I may need them. There should really be no reason to bring ALL your flipcharts every Sunday, as they really should be only to help teach the song not for them to just read the words from your posters (just my humble opinion!).

Hi! This is probably in the archives somewhere, but I am wondering how you have found it best to organize all you use as music leader. I'm thinking of using sheet protectors and binders, or possibly some kind of rolling bin with hanging file folders. I'd rather start something and continue it than realize it doesn't really work and start over a different way. Thank you for your input!
