I was asked to have the older nursery children come in to join us for 10 minutes of singing time in July last year. That was a major challenge because of the timing of our program. However, if they can come when it works for you schedule-wise, it is wonderful. I even had a couple of nursery children come up and join the Primary when they sang for Thanksgiving because they knew the song so well. And come January, the 16 adorable Sunbeams already knew me as well as the presidency. I did do a few more actions for the songs than I would have done with the Junior because they were there but in light of the upcoming Program just a few months after they started coming in, they learned a couple of the program songs. It takes a little bit of different planning to have them there so just be ready for that. I also would often ask the nursery children to help with visuals to give them breaks from sitting.
