Go to the Styles menu and click on 'Style Wizard (Auto-Create style
from midi file)'
To use this dialog, you should know something about the midi file you
plan to use to create the style. BIAB does a fair job, but you should
first learn which midi channels have the bass, the chords, the drums,
the melody, etc. You should also have a working knowledge of BIAB style
construction in order to pick the midi file measures that can be
assigned to BIAB style patterns.
Click on the Open ... box at the top to open the midi file. BIAB will
analyze the midi file and guess which channels to assign to BIAB style
parts and assign measures to patterns. You can save the result as a BIAB
style or you can change the track and pattern assignments to get a more
precise style before saving. The resulting STY file can then be edited
in the Style Editor for final tuning.
