We do this in our ward, but we wait until after the Primary Presentation is done. We do it in December so they can join in with the Christmas songs. I start singing time with a song that I have sung in nursery with them.

Subject: [primusic] Nursery Kids in Singing Tim
My PP approached me last week and asked what I thought about the oldest nursery kids coming into singing time so that they can start adjusting to a different schedule. I do think that this is a great idea but I am a little worried about how I am going to include them and keep their attention. We are going to be reviewing a lot and working really hard on our program songs and I don't want them to feel left out. Any suggestions?  Krista Thompson |
