0 [Band-in-a-Box] Guitar Window?

 

Hello All,

My first post here, I saw somewhere that not question is too stupid...

I bought BB solely to help me learn to play the bass guitar. I'm very new to the program so needless to say, I'm still trying to figure it all out!

I see that the Guitar Window can be configured to resemble a bass fret board and *sometimes* it will show the bass line as it's being played, but only on some types of tunes apparently. Does this feature only work on the midi type tunes and not on RealTracks?

And as an aside, anyone got a favorite tutorial for the total newbie?
