I am the music leader for Jr. Primary, Sr. Primary and Nursery in my ward. I take 10-15 minutes each sunday do some songs with the Nursery. I include a few song that we sing regularly in Jr primary like Snow man, Popcorn and Sunbeam and I am a Child of God. I do this so that when the come into Jr. primary, they will already know some songs. The last 2 weeks of the year we bring the advancing nursery kids into singing time to show them what it will be like and to help the transition a little easier.We just add another row in front of the sunbeams. I think it helps that they will also know at least one person when they move up... ME! Hope this helps
